Hello Parents and Guardians of Herndon Magnet School Students, this is Tom Thomas, Principal of Herndon Magnet School with important information.
• LEAP testing went really well. Thank you for your support during testing and having your child here each day. We do have quite a bit of make-up tests, but overall, everything ran smoothly.
• Students in grades 3-8 will need their backpacks tomorrow.
• If you have not returned the fourth nine weeks progress report, please return it to homeroom tomorrow.
• Congratulations to the Lady Hawks Soccer Team! They beat Providence 2-0 and captured third place in the Northwest Louisiana Soccer League.
• Congratulations to Richard Morton! He finished in 5th place in the City Track and Field Championship in the 800-meter run.
• The 6th Grade Exploration Fair will be held Thursday night, April 25. The Fair will begin in the auditorium at 6:00 PM. The 6th grade band and the HMS MS Choir will be performing.
