The dates for LEAP testing for grades 3-8 are April 17-19 and April 22-23. We need everyone here each day of testing. The students and teachers have worked diligently, and we believe that everyone’s hard work will once again result in Herndon having a β€œSchool Performance Score” of an A. We also believe that we will again be named a Louisiana Top Gains School, a Caddo Gains School, and an Opportunity Honoree. We know that none of this would be possible without your support, and I could never say thank you enough.

🟣🟒🟑 Who knew a three-day week could be jam-packed with so many activities!? Students enjoyed our annual Mardi Gras parade hosted by the 8th-grade class. Beauty queens, 8th-grade Krewes, Court, Royalty, and some former Herndon teachers threw lots of loot as we wrap up this Mardi Gras season. πŸ“ΏπŸŽβšœ πŸ’™πŸ’›πŸ–€ The winner of the cheerleader's coin drive was Mr. O'Neal! He was slimed not once, but three times! Thanks for being such a good sport, Mr. O'Neal; and thank you to everyone who donated to help our cheerleaders go to Disney this spring! Too many pictures to share so here's the link to them all! πŸ”— https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/154hwhapZcV8U0fp-qIAES5syuHgZDdM7?usp=sharing β€Ό As a reminder, tomorrow is a Virtual Day for students. They were given an assignment today and the digital copy with instructions will also be posted tomorrow morning on our website and Facebook.
