🎉 Celebrating Our Shining Stars & Looking Ahead! 🎉
We are absolutely thrilled to recognize our incredible 3rd-8th grade students for their hard work and academic success at today's Honors Presentation! 🏆
These students have shown amazing dedication, and we were excited to present them with well-deserved Brag Tags for their achievements across three recognition periods:
⭐ 4th Nine Weeks (2024–2025 School Year)
⭐ 2025 LEAP Awards
⭐ 1st Nine Weeks (2025–2026 School Year)
🚀 What Recognition Looks Like Moving Forward 🚀
As we continue to celebrate student achievement, here’s what recognition will look like moving forward:
1st & 3rd Nine Weeks: Students will be honored in their classrooms with brag tags and certificates to celebrate their academic accomplishments.
End of Semester Awards (2nd & 4th Nine Weeks): We will host 3rd–8th grade awards banquets to recognize outstanding achievement at the end of each semester. This will also be a celebration to honor students’ growth, progress, and achievements for the full academic year!
🏆We encourage all students to proudly display their honors on their backpack or lanyard!
Help us give a huge shout-out to all the honor students! We are so proud of your commitment to excellence! Keep up the great work! 🍎📚

We've added 20 minutes to the event, allowing for an additional rotation and richer opportunities for connection.
This extra time means the new itinerary will feature four engaging 20-minute rotations: 🎨 Art, 🎶 Music, 🤸 P.E., 📚 Library Activities OR Book Fair (Don’t worry, Library activities will be available for those who choose not to attend the Book Fair.)
Please Note: To include this extra time, the overall scheduled times will be adjusted on the final itinerary. Every year, we look for ways to enhance the flow and enjoyment of Grandparents Day. We're confident this change will allow for a more relaxed pace and more cherished memories for all who attend!

As we get ready for some festive fun, here's a friendly reminder about our costume guidelines to ensure a safe and enjoyable day for all students and staff.
All costumes must follow the CPSB (Caddo Parish School Board) regular dress code.
Safety first! Please do not send your child with the following items:
--Masks or full face paint
--Any weapons (real or toy)
--Blow-up costumes (We know this is a bummer, but just think of the disruption these cause on the bus and in the classrooms.)
--Costume accessories that could potentially be used as a weapon (e.g., a wand or toy sword).
--What's okay? Simple, wearable accessories like a crown are generally fine. 👑
Our goal is to keep everyone safe, and we appreciate your understanding and cooperation with these rules! If you're unsure about an item, it's best to err on the side of caution and leave it at home. 💛🖤💙

We can’t wait to welcome our wonderful grandparents to campus and honor the special role they play in our students’ lives. Mark your calendars!

We are so proud to announce our Elementary Teacher of the Year: Ashley Smith and our Middle School Teacher of the Year: Victoria Lacy! 💛
We’re especially thrilled to share that Victoria Lacy has also been named a District Finalist—what an incredible honor! Thank you both for your dedication, hard work, and the positive impact you make on our students every day.
Please join us in celebrating these amazing educators! 👏📚
